Technical information

The world of fuzz is so vast that it is easy to get lost in it. For several years I have tried, tested, wired and re-tested dozens of versions of fuzz to come up with this model that summarizes everything we love about fuzz: simplicity, grain and power.

The Oz was designed by my wife @lea. With its aesthetic that echoes the Sable and the Mercure, this fuzz stands out for its golden color and its green light that seems to be an emerald set in the middle of a gold ocean.

At the circuit level, two transistors ensure a classic but proven assembly. The best of germanium and silicon are combined here to produce a thick but defined fuzz, without ever pouring into the sound mud. The simple gain and output volume settings allow you to switch from subtle sound to a truly abrasive fuzz.

Frequency response : 30 Hz – 30 KHz at -3 dB

Output load : 10 KΩ | Input signal from 10 Hz to 30 KHz: 50 mV
